Owner-chef Gonzalo Morales is the heart and soul of Los Jalapeños and the keeper of the secret recipes that have kept customers loyal since its opening in 1994. Morales who was born and raised in Tlaxcala, east of Mexico City, moved to the area in the late 80's and shared his talents with Bend staples such as Inn of the Seventh Mountain and Scalion's at the Athletic Club of Bend before establishing his own Taqueria in its current location, . Morales and the friendly staff, that knows the customers by name, are proud to serve locals and visitors of Bend a wide variety of authentic tasty options for every meal of the day. Morales has cultivated an authentic and diverse menu of Mexican food, with something for everyone, all made from fresh and local ingredients. Los Jalapeños features a rarely found Mexican breakfast menu in addition to traditional savory lunch and dinner items. Happy hour is an extended occasion with specialty margaritas and featured food items 2-6PM daily. Los Jalapeños is located just north of Juniper Swim and Fitness Center on Greenwood Avenue in Bend, OR.

Really lovely Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and quick service. Great range of dishes on the menu everything freshly prepared and super tasty. The first time I visited I noticed that most of the customers were regulars and knew the owner and the menu well. This is my kids favorite place to eat in Bend. The setting is not fancy but the food is wonderfully delicious.
